Hi,
I have just configured a test server to use Mobile CRM and first impressions are very good.
Has anyone else got feedback on this product?
Thanks,
Andrew.

Are you referring to the app that can be downloaded from the app store (Apple or Android)? I’ve been trying to get that working with our environment for about a month now with no luck. Pretty sure I’m overlooking something simple but once I get it running I’ll let you know what our users think.
It’s clean and seems to work well. We had issues with Android if the site certificate wasn’t set up properly. Error messages are better in iOS than Android. Use a packet sniffer like tPacketCapture to see what’s going on in Android. No issues with iOS.
It would be nice if you could publish UD fields to the app.

Oh, you have to initialize the app to switch between Live and other environments. Might be a nice feature to have Profiles to switch between them.

Mark - you can publish UD fields to the App. You have to edit the updateable BAQ’s that were loaded up. One thing to note, the UD fields will only show on the screen IF there is data in them.
Also, got a few questions…
I’m curious if your folks are using tasks and cases - because the fields/values do not line up correctly. We found this during our last round of testing a few months back, but haven’t looked at it recently.
And we were actually fairly disappointed in how the security options work. You have to set them at the device interface, not in the UI application - has this changed?
And the lack of direct device integration - mail/calendar/etc…
Thanks Mike! That is good to know!!!
