Multiple supplier descriptions

Hi,
I have a user who is looking for a way to handle different descriptions per supplier. It is the same part number in our system, but each supplier seems to require something slightly different in the description that may not be needed for another supplier. The user states that most of the time, the supplier doesn’t have a special part number so I think that means supplier price list with supplier part number won’t work. Anyone else have this issue and already solved it?

Could you put the Supplier’s description in the Supplier Part # field?

You can use your part number also as supplier part number and then put different descriptions.
