Thanks for the idea. After consulting with Epicor Support, they
confirmed that loading Progress 9.1D would be the most likely
solution, and they also confirmed that there shouldn't be any data
corruption issues when I pull the DB over from the Progress 9.1C machine.
I had to reload the Progress 9.1D client at the workstation level, but
was able to get the beast up and running again. Had to manually
configure the parameters in Progress explorer to get it to see the
live and training databases, but after that it appears to be working well.
Bottom line is that Vantage 5.1 needs Progress 9.1D to run on a WIN2K3
server.
