If you create the job with a part number that is in the part master, then go
back and change the part number to the non stock item, it will work. I have
done this and have not had any problems so far.

used this method to make fixtures and things and really did not want them as
stocked parts. We have not found any way around this except to put the part
in the part master file and would like the old flexibility of 3.0 back.
