Just wondering if anyone has seen this behavior before:
I am printing either a canned or a modified Crystal Report of 20 pages or so from Vantage.
The print preview looks fine...
Somewhere in the middle of the printed output details start disappearing. The totals lines are there, but the characters / numbers are all gone. A few pages of details will come back and the last few pages are all there as well. The total number of printed pages matches the preview.
It doesn't seem to happen on all workstations. And the printers don't always drop details. We use standard printers and drivers (HP LaserJet 4000, Canon). When I send a report throught that gets mangled I can turn it into a PDF, take it home and print it from my home printer just fine.
At this point I have reinstalled ODBC drivers, printer drivers, used different printers, etc., but I can't get to the bottom of the issue or a fix. For me it is hard to say whether this is a driver, a printer, a network, or a Vantage issue.
