Definitely not a truncate *table*.. But a Truncate BI, yes, sometimes if
you're updating the db or application.

thought I'd try here as it's probably an easy question - back in 2002 I
worked for a company that also used software with a Progress back-end db.
Periodically a 'truncation' operation was recommended, if I recall
correctly, but I don't think that you need to 'truncate' a Progress database
any more. Anyone familiar with this?
