I've had this problem twice now, the first a couple of years ago.
In my Citrix environment (CPS 4.0, needs patches), for a single user
all Citrix apps (including Vantage) ignore all keyboard input and
produce a beep. This happens on multiple servers in the farm, but only
at one site (i.e. the two servers at my HQ site, but not the remote
server at my remote site). The HQ site servers all share via group
policy a redirected TSHome and TSProfile directory, but we've deleted
those for this user.
It is quite consistent and in all apps (Notepad, Word, Vantage, etc.)
It also happens in Remote Desktop directly, so not a Citrix-only issue.
Ideas? I don't see anything in the Citrix Forums/KB or via a
non-casual Google search.
I can create a new account (same userid, different SID) and that will
fix the problem (it did before), but that's painful and I'd like to fix
the real problem.
