Actually, it is not Vantage data at all. It is Word, Excel, Act and
Peachtree. Actually we had not old equipment to switch to test with

I agree with a later reply that setting up a trust might work.
I've done this a lot with WinNT4 but not Win2K.
However, I'm also just a little intrigued.
Maybe I missed an earlier post with more info?
If so, forgive me for asking.
I wouldn't just do this without having used test servers first.
Even if somebody with a lot of experience gives you good
instructions,
there may be something unique to your environment.
I always set up a few old PC's in a test lab and experiment before I
ever do anything on production servers. Most companies have old
hardware
laying around to play with.
What is your intent?
Are you just trying to retire and older Vantage server and migrate
your
data to new hardware?
