Thank you, Scott and Gary. I will start shadow copy in certain folders
of my server. I cannot believe that in your computer you have the option
to use the recycle bin but not when you delete from a mapped
drive....Thanks again.

Shadows copies only works if 1. It is installed and running and 2. If
the
file existed when Shadow Copy ran.
For instance, I have my Shadow Copies run at 7:00 am and at 1:00 pm. If
the
file existed at those times then you can use previous versions to
recover
the file. To recover a deleted file at that time you would create a
dummy
file called exactly what the file was called. And it has to be exact.
Then
you right click, click on properties, click on previous Versions and
then
restore the file.
Since this delete was in a few minutes then you most likely do not have
a
previous version (shadow copy) of the file.
There are Undelete Utilities that can recover the file. Do a Google
search
for undelete utility and it will give you a bunch of results.

Mario,
Are you using Shadow Copy on your server? If so, you can right click on
the folder the file is in (providing it is a network-shared folder) and
select properties. There should be a previous versions tab. The rest
is self-explanatory. I think the shadow copy was a separate download
from the Microsoft site. A consultant I work with installed it.
