I created a report (not crystal, but a barcode software) that prints as
labor is entered (if you use report quantity, or end activity). It uses the
BAM (Vantage 6.1) to export the data I wish to a CSV and then calls the
label (report) by a DOS command to print based on the data in the csv.
It requires a bit of progress programming, but nothing that requires
provision or any programming tool other than notepad.
I created this once before and I am in the process of creating it again if
you think this might be the right solution to your wish, email me off line
and I will help you through the hurdles.
Good luck,
Aaron Hoyt

Has anyone created/modified the Part Tags Crystal Report (or created one
to print in conjunction with Labor Entry)? We want to print on half
sheet paper the following information : Part, Description, Rev, Job
Number, Prev Operation finished, current operation, quantity reported,
next operation, employee id and name, date production reported. The dbf
files are somewhat limited. It would be easiest for us to use the
current routine - but, I would look at other options.
Any help would be appreciated.
