Problems with posting

oleg- try this fix- we had the same problem and linda at epicor emailed me
this vantage basic program.

I was just on the phone with Vantage because I have some inventory
transactions that will not post for the month of August. Basically the
reason they didn't post was that under the company configuration for 4.0
there was a new default control account that was needed for the cost of
returns. I don't see this mentioned anywhere.. the part that is really
frustrating is that now when I call them, they don't know how to tell me to
post this (and I will have more transactions for the month of September)
and they tell me I should send an email to custom programming and pay for a
way to post this stuff. I really don't like that idea. I doubt I am the
first person this has happened to, but I suppose this is a way for them to
make some more money.
Any ideas?

If they show up on the WIP Reconciliation report, you can just make a
journal entry for the amount to the right accounts. If not, it would seems
to me that manually calculating the cost of the returns and making a journal
entry would still be cheaper than a custom program for a one time problem.
Of course, I do not know how many returns you process.
