Progress versions used for eMfg 5.0

This got me to thinking. (WOW)

Can 9.1A and 9.1C run on the same server for testing?

Good point William,
We are using Progress 9.1b for the development of Vantage 5.1 and plan to be
on Progress 9.1C when 5.1 is released in August. We have done testing of
eMfg 5.0 on Progress 9.1B but the benefits do not out weight the effort of
having to do a uninstall of 9.1a and a complete install on 9.1b.

Caution here. 9.1b is a new release of progress. You can't apply patches
for 9.1b to release 9.1a. There are significant changes between 9.1a and
9.1b.

Is anyone using a more recent version of Progress 9.1 with Version 5 Emfg?
It seems strange that a patch hasn't been released by Epicor since the
initial 9.1a26 all the way back to 11/30/00. Progress website shows current
patch of 9.1b18 dated 05/01/01. Has anyone tried this patch??

Has anyone seen a GPF caused by Prowin32 in the mfc42.dll file? I can not
seem to find any information regarding this problem. It is happening on my
data collection computers running Win98 and Win98 SE.
