Replace backflushed Material in existing Jobs. 905.606.A

You can Return Material under Inventory Management > General Operations for the material not needed.

When you do – click the Issue Complete checkbox.

Add the new materials to the job and Issue Material under Inventory Management > General Operations.

Also – doing the personalization or customization as mentioned in a prior post and unhiding the Issue Complete is a good idea.

These are active jobs, need to replace material 1/2 way through completeing qty.

Guess closing the existing job and opening a new job would be the other way.

Thanks josh.

I am guessing these are jobs that were completed with the incorrect materials being backflushed. If you reverse the labor quantity it should pull the material off, you could then change the part number on your job and re-enter the labor quantity to have that material backflushed. The other way that I know of would be to manually return the material, change the part number, and manually issue the material.

Good day all,

I'm trying to replace material on an existing job. It won't allow me to 0 the qty on the original material so it stops pulling from inventory.
Is there a way or is it a manual transfer?

Thanks in advance
jacqueline

You can mark the material issued complete in job entry, so it won’t issue that material. Do a personalization on the material list collection to unhide the issued complete checkbox.
