You can use the Material Return function or the salvage function.
Material issue is part of Issues/Returns. Salvage is part of Receipts
from MFG.

Would it work to use the negative qty "issue to job", but mark the material
complete at the same time?
The material will still show on the job requirement, with the activity
history, but it will also show complete so Vantage wont keep trying to fill
it.

this is just a thought. We're not on 6.0 yet, but we "un-issue" materials
on occasion for similar reasons. At that time a memo is added to explain
what happened to that bad boy.
