Restrict quoted checkbox

Hi,

Is there a way we can restrict the quoted checkbox in the quote entry field? We basically want everybody to be able to create a quote, but only managers can approve the quote.

You can use Field Security Maintenance to make the QuoteHead.Quoted field read-only for everyone except a specific user or user group.

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for your help on this. I made the quoted field read-only, but strangely the user can still create a sales order when the quoted field is not checked.

Is there a way we can prevent the user from creating the sales order?
