I adjusted a territory to reflect the new primary sales person for the territory. However, some of the customers in the territory adjustment will need to keep the old salesperson.
To do this, I did the adjustment and went back into the specific customer and selected the old sales person.
I saved the customer and created a new quote for the customer.
The primary salesperson from the territory defaults in, not the salesperson as defined on the customer.
I am scratching my head on why this would be. Both workforce member have the same role and according to the application help, the default salesperson on a sales order is defined on the customer. Keeping in mind this is on the quote level, is there something I am doing wrong? I do not recall having this issue before…

Salesperson
Specifies the salesperson who handles this customer account. Select the salesperson from the list. The salesperson associated with the assigned territory automatically displays in this field, but you can select a different salesperson. This is the default salesperson on all orders and invoices created for this customer, but it can be overridden on any order or invoice.
