Saving Method Directive is really slow

I know there was a version of 9.05 (604 maybe?) that was real slow and there was a fix.
We run 9.05.607b and it takes a while depending on how many directives for the business object. It is better than what it was on an earlier version. The save actually rewrites/compiles the entire .r file on your server. We probably have a dozen different BPMs on sales order for various methods and those all get combined into 1 file - probably takes us a good minute or so for us now.

In Epicor 9 I have finding that saving a method directive is taken between 30-60 seconds. Anyone else run into this? Any solutions? This is killing me trying to debug a BPM.

This happens to me on on the JobEntry.Update method. It takes a little while to save, not sure of the reason. It could be related to the amount of directives there are for the method.
