When processing jobs with serial numbers, we rely on the Last Operation and Next Operation fields in order to control the flow of serial numbers. We needed to add an operation to a job as the first operation. After processing the subcontract receipt, it appears that these two fields are not updating. I have a ticket open with Epicor but I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and is it a bug?
Thanks for the reply. It turns out that subcontract operations do not update these fields because they are related to labor only. There is a specific field that is updated for subcontract transactions. SubConOprSeq
