Session not closing

I've seen this happen, but it has been random and not associated with any one PC or login. Most of the time, you can right click on the System Monitor in the task tray and select exit which will shut down the session. In extreme cases I've had to do a ctrl-alt-del and kill the session, sometimes more then once. Never have found what causes it.

If it is happening to one PC all the time, I would suspect a driver or process outside of Vantage hanging it up. Maybe even spyware.

Wild thought but if the PC is more "inactive" late in the day maybe the NIC settings are turning the interface off to save power. I've seen this to strange things to various Vantage versions including making them unresponsive. In the network connection properties look for a Configure button by the adapter name and then check the Power Management tab. If any power settings are checked uncheck them. This might help.
