Slow EpicWeb Downloads

I have experienced the same almost every time I download from Epicweb a 5 minute download is taking 1/2 to 45 minutes. It is definitely on their end.

I am trying to download all the needed service packs and patches to test an upgrade to Epicor 9. The last few days while downloading from epicweb.epicor.com, the best speeds I've been able to get are only 15 to 20 Kbps. Has anyone else experienced the same issue or am I just catching the site on a busy week? I am wondering if Epicor is capping download speeds per connection to preserve bandwidth to their servers. That would be a pretty low cap though.

I know its not our connection since I am able to download from other sites at anywhere from 600KBps to 700KBps.

Thanks,

Yes, it has been a problem.

We are downloading at night/weekends from home.

Yep, they have been extremely slow lately. I would imagine a bunch of people are downloading the 408A patch which has a critical paypal update (including myself).

Thanks,
Kunal
