Hello, brand new user to epicor so forgive me, ive used the search function with no luck. Is it possible to use the system to firm component work orders if you firm the parent part from MRP? Im trying to cut time down on firming MRP orders. Some of our parent parts have 7 or 8 components to them. This would drastically eliminate time in firming new jobs.

Have you considered making the subassemblies actual subassemblies in the method?
Otherwise - there is an auto firm Horizon that you can set in Site Maintenance that will firm any unfirm jobs within x days.
I have not considered that, i will definitely take a look at that. With the auto firm, I would like to keep it a manual process for the parent part, but upon firming, I want it to firm all components. Are there parameters we can set to se this up through the sit maintenance?
