We have Epicor integrated with Work Easy clock for our production employees. So when they start their shift and clock in through Work Easy, only then they can login to actual Jobs through MES Portal. We have a few employees in Office who are salaried and don’t clock in through the time clock but still log in to actual Jobs e.g. Engineering Team. Epicor doesn’t let them sign in without clocking in through time clock first saying they are not clocked in. How can we change this on an employee level?
I think it depends on exactly how your Epicor system is integrated with Work Easy. There is probably some piece of that integration that prevents clocking in directly using Epicor MES. Based on that version number, it can’t be using Epicor Functions, so there is probably a BPM (or several BPMs) that handle that integration. Maybe on the Labor Business Object?
Hello Charan,
Every time an Engineer Team member clocks time to a Job it creates a LaborDtl record. Each of those has a unique LaborDtlSeq number. But the system will not generate a LaborDtlSeq without already being associated to a LaborHed record with a LaborHedSeq number. This is base software functionality of Epicor.
You can create a strategy to deal with those employees, but as far as I can tell you will still have to have a LaborHed record for each LaborDtl.
