Time Phase Due Date

That was it. Sales creates and schedules the Jobs with the Order Job Wizard, so then if Production changes the job (by removing a manufactured subassembly and replacing it with a purchased component), any changes are not in the schedule and the Job needs to be rescheduled.

I'll need to think about how best to tackle this one on the procedure level... what really needs to happen is for Engineering to updated BOMs when a subassembly changes from being manufactured to being purchased as a component... especially if there is any kind of lead time involved.

Thanks!

We don't enter labor until after production has completed (it is then backflushed), so the op is never going to show as "started".

I know I can use the DMT to reset all the PartMtl records for future jobs, and then a BPM so the field is always set to 0 for adds and changes, but am I missing something?

We only see this if the job has not been scheduled.

We don't enter labor until after production has completed (it is then backflushed), so the op is never going to show as "started".

I know I can use the DMT to reset all the PartMtl records for future jobs, and then a BPM so the field is always set to 0 for adds and changes, but am I missing something?

I've seen this in 8.03.409 but it was intermittent.
Sounds like it is happening consistently to the same operations for you?

Have you tried Company modules setup, Production, Jobs
- checking "GlobalReschedule Started Operations"?
This has fixed a few operation start date issues for me.
