Training UserId and Password

THANK YOU!! I was able to get in there with the manager / manager
password (even though it wouldn't work to log into vantage), and it did
shoe 2 sessions active so I deleted them both. Then I had to re-boot
the server, and now it works - thank you!!!!

I have seen wierder. First, Vantage always gives erroneous login errors.

example, if someone is already logged in (ungraceful logout) and tries
again
to login, the are confronted with a msg saying that the username or
password
is no good again.

I know it should not matter, but maybe you can check the session maint.
under admin tools and delete anything currently logged in to the
training
company...

something earlier today... although only 2 of us have access to manager
acct and both say we did not change the password so...)

Does anybody know another default userId and password for getting into
the training system (8.0)?

Hello Sarah,



I had a similar issue, as I never knew the uid/pwd for our training db.
I ended up pulling an ancient backup from tape with a known uid/pwd . If
vantage is like most databases, the security prevents default
administration accounts or ODBC changes to those tables.

the admin tools either b/c we only have the one userId and password and
its locked... is there a way to get to this without logging in that
anyone knows of (like the old PROMON)?

I find that sometimes even if I can't get into Production using Manager / Manager I can get into Admin tools and when I log out I can get into the production database. I don't know how or why but it resets it.

Otherwise I think you should be able to get in as Kenny with a PW of Kenny
