Trying to Group by Date in a Labor Edit report

To all,

I am trying to group by Payroll date in a labor exception report in Crystal reports, however, it is just not working.
I am grouping first by department, then by Employee ID (and these group just fine), but my payroll date group has (Example: GH3 5/28/2017 … but listed below it has June 2nd and June 3rd in the group.)
Is this an Epicor issue, or am I totally missing something?

Any help, ideas?

Check the Group Options and verify it is being grouped “for each day”
