I've created a UD form that puts some data into the UD01 table that I will eventually pull out and connect with a sales order. I'm using Key1 and Key2 fields, as well as a date field and 3 shortchar fields for the data storage. The table works great for what I'm doing, but I have a problem with the form I wonder if anyone else has run into.
My users enter data into the Key1 and Key2 fields, and if there is no data there with those keys it asks to create a record just like you'd expect. If there IS data there, it displays it, again just as you'd expect. In either case data is either edited or entered, and you click save. So far so good. The problem comes now when you want to add a next record... if I click the clear button to erase the fields, it appears as though the two key fields open up again for input, but when I enter data into them, nothing happens. Literally nothing. It doesn't open up the remaining fields or ask if you want to create a new record, it doesn't even look as though it reads the database. Is it possible to alter the action of the "clear" button, or is there another way to go about this (beyond exiting the application and restarting)?
