Updating labor transaction on a Posted labor entry

Then at that point I think you have to make the adjustment to the
job....whenever you create changes it does ask for an employee to make
the change against anyway.

We don't license the Payroll module, and so when the company
configuration was set up, probably the "Labor to Payroll" check box was
checked or left checked by default without thought to what it meant.
What it does is "process" payroll each night, and that leaves each
laborhed entry as marked as Posted and therefore not able to be changed.
This "processing" is meaningless without the Payroll module, other than
it leaves you unable to modify the labor entry through normal means,
i.e. Labor Entry.

I've corrected this going forward (I think) but there are labor
transactions that need to be edited and can't be because system thinks
they are posted.

So, question is, how do I correct "posted" labor transactions?
Do I edit them, or post some negative against it or what...

Where are you seeing the POSTED marker?

Usually you would go into job adjustments to update a job or go into
Labor Entry and just add another entry.

How do you update/modify a labor transaction on an employee when the
POSTED marker is indicated?
