Upgrade Advice Blank Title 111422

I just upgraded my test environment to 700b2 last week, was 607b. I can tell you the upgrade went way better than past ones. We are also heavily customized when it comes to forms and reports, some BPMs, BAMs, etc. There were only 2 forms that failed the upgrade - customer entry and tracker. I have those lovely warnings with orphaned controls which generally mean you're better off starting the customization from scratch again. We don't have anyone in testing yet so there could be other unidentified issues to come. Let me know how it goes for you!

I'm diving into the 9.05.607 -> 9.05.700B2 upgrade / patch this weekend.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or pitfalls they wanted to
share.

We are not live yet (so our entire system is currently a test
environment), but we have done some HEAVY customizations.

We didn't want to upgrade, but do to some known bugs, we are forced to.

I was just wondering if there was anything in particular I should look
for before, during, and after the upgrade.

This isn't my first upgrade, so I'm not worried about the process
itself, just an particulars or gotchas.

I am gonna say this and with my luck it won't hold true, but in my
Experience A,B,C etc Patches normally go on without a hitch, there are no
version changes to the DLL's and the customizations should just work.

We also have many customizations and are doing a 607 to 700b conversion
this weekend.
In testing, we found that our custom bo\BatchOps.p program failed, and I
had to accommodate a new parameter, but other than that, almost
all of our customizations worked.

Just finished an upgrade last Sunday.
Everything went smooth with the upgrade. Much smoother than upgrades in the past!
