A Client install rewrites the VTG files in the Vantage directory on the
server. If they have been edited (like ours) then copy them to a safe
place and after a client install copy them back.

I don't know about ver 3. but in ver 4 were time I
install a new Client the
vantage.ini file needs to have the reference to the
custom directory put
back in. I tried making it read only...I can't
remember why.. but it didn't

custom programming. About
every other day the path to our custom directory
disappears from the propath
statement in the vantage.ini file. First I was
wondering what is changing
this file on a regular basis and second, can I make
it a read-only file
without suffering any evil consequences.
