I run the InoculateIT PE (personal edition) on my PC's at home. A little
different look and feel than the Inoculate IT full version we have at work
but it seems to function just the same. It has caught and deleted several
viruses as they came in from e-mail so I know it working and the price was
right (free!!!). I also joined their e-mail notification so that when
patches/virus Def's are updated, I'm notified via. e-mail and just run the
download and the files are updated.

Computer Associates gives away Inoculate IT. Never tried the
free edition but I run the network version. Works fine.

on different computers depending on OS, but they are very outdated!!! I
can't upgrade them via the Internet because of, ah, legal matters (if you
know what I mean) so what would anyone suggest? We're willing to spend some
$$$, like $200-$400.
