WIP Report (Vantage 4:944)

It would be great if you could send me this fix so I can test it out in a
test enviornment.

Thanks again..

Our problem was similiar except that the difference was between the
database and the job "Production Detail" report for materials cost.
Perhaps, this is the only place that we noticed the difference.
Anyway, I was sent a fix program from Epicor. If you are using
Vantage 4.0 904, then I could sent you the fix.

Does anybody have a problem with the "materials" value being incorrect on
their WIP report? We have gone into the database and found that the
information there, is correct but yet the WIP report is wrong. Only the
materials cost's are incorrect for totals. Any information on this would be
helpful considering that Epicor wants a copy of our database and the problem
is in the report. Go figure............

Our accountant says it took a lot long to run that report today also ( on
4:904)-our assumption is the greater number of records because of MRP
functionality, even though we don't have MRP.

This is our first regular month's closing in 4.0.

When the Inventory/WIP Reconcilication Report is run, (Ver4:902), it takes a
very long time to get output. Also, frequent crashes have been occuring.
In Ver 3, this procedure took only 5 minutes. We have experienced this
problem since going to Ver 4.
Is this a common problem, or am I alone here?
Thanks,

We have also had a problem with the amounts not matching. It has to do
with a material sequence having a negative value. The reports (production
detail and WIP) allow the material sequence to be negative and the system
will not accept a negative material sequence. If the sequence is negative
the system assumes it is $0. The problem happens when you salvage a
greater $$ value than was issued. There were other instances when the
material sequence could be negative, but I think they have been corrected.
This will create an out of balance condition between WIP and COS and INV
in the GL. I have reported this problem several times and it has not been
fixed. I do understand that you should not have a negative amount in a
material sequence, but it does happen when people enter things incorrectly.
