9.05.702 - Entering, Changing, Deleting 30 sales order line - Re

Just to rule out performance issues from the workstation or network...
I might try some data entry on the server & see if the lag is the same there.

All,
Using the sales order line list view.
Sales Order Entry people working releases are typing faster than Epicor can enter the data.
They easily get a 2 - 3 row lead on Epicor then sit and wait.
Entering  Selling Requested Qty, Ship By Date, Need By Date Press Enter = New Row.
Have always seen a 2-3 second wait before Epicor is done doing its thing.

Trace Log
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder,  GetNewOrderRel   187 = ExecutionTime  OK
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder, ChangeSellingReqQty 171 = ExecutionTime OK
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder, ChangeNeedByDate  171 = ExecutionTime OK,  Enter for New Line
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder, MasterUpdate  2823 = ExecutionTIme,  Ouch 2.8 Seconds
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder, CheckComplianceOrderFail  62 = ExecutionTime
Epicor.Mfg.BO.SalesOrder, GetNewOrderRel  218 = ExecutionTime

Any ideas on how to speed up the process.

Any and all comments welcome, believe me, I’m willing to try about anything.

There was a comment the other day about the ready to process checkbox having an effect on sales order speed.

Good thought, I did test this with it check and unchecked and it did not have any impact on speed of entering releases.
