Anyone having issues with their Prod/Live Cloud environment after this weekends 2025.1.5 upgrade?

Our Prod/Live Cloud environment is down since yesterday, 6/23. We our on the Flex 2 dates and were not part of the 2025.1.5 upgrade, however something happened yesterday. Wondering if anyone else in the Cloud is having issues. We are Gov Cloud. To make it more frustrating…not getting any response from Epicor Support other than someone will be reviewing my critical/escalated ticket.

Update: We are back up…only 27 hrs from the submission of my Critical 1 ticket. Waiting to hear from support as to what caused our issue and what they had to do to resolve. We had our Pilot environment upgraded to 2025.1.5 late last week. After seeing some of the issues mentioned here and on another post, I am not looking forward to testing :sob:

Our Public Cloud LIVE was upgraded to 2025.1.5 this weekend. So far, no issues to report.

Lucky you. Nothing but issues here with ours. Shipment Entry is broken, Receipt Entry is Broken, apparently Bank Adjustment Entry is also broken.

What’s more frustrating is that some of these weren’t broken in testing, and others were reported ahead of time and not resolved in time for the upgrade.

Are there quick ways I can test those here?:

  • Shipment Entry is broken,
  • Receipt Entry is Broken,
  • Bank Adjustment Entry is also broken.

If you try and create a receipt in Classic it errors. If you try and create one in Kinetic, it will allow you to create a packslip but will error when you try to add a line.
Shipment Entry I believe works in Kinetic, but throws an error when you try and create a packslip in Classic.
Bank Adjustment Entry I’m not sure…

Only issue we have -so far- is one workstation for some reason won’t open the Epicor client. It just flashes on the screen and never opens. still working on it.

Edit: Solution was to delete folders, clear cache, and reinstall from a new download of the SaaS installer.

So far it’s just been some minor Edge Agent deployment stuff and having to delete a couple of personalizations. The day is still young though.

Suddenly can’t get the bearer token service to return a token, blown up all our external apps that use the API. Creds being passed in are all legit! I’m navigating Kinetic with them even.

The most Monday of mondays truly.

Customer Shipment Entry:

  • Classic - appears not to retain SO# on header, so it must be re-entered at the line level for the lookup of Line/Rel to work.
  • Kinetic (browser) - appears to be ok.

@Banderson is correct it’s been so long as our process is to not enter it at the Header for so long I’d forgotten.

Receipt Entry:

  • Classic - able to receive a PO ok (lot-controlled part).
  • Kinetic (browser) - able to receive a PO ok (lot-controlled part).

If your Edge agent isn’t to the 1.2.608.0 version, your 2025.1.5 Browser will bark when trying to print, if you then install the Edge Agent upgrade your Printer Icons will be greyed out until you do a full PC boot.

Ran into our second computer that won’t run the smartclient after upgrading to 2025.1. Attempting the same fix of clear cache, delete, and reinstall.

Yes, also users trying to compile a classic dashboard when opened for the first time, Object Ref not set to an instance of an Object, I compiled but had to clear cache and reboot end users. Also classic users must do a save layout again on any classic personalization’s. Were in mixed mode about 90% Kinetic and 10% Classic. Best of both worlds.

probably going to jynx myself but so far all our users can login to the smartclient without any issue.

One of our post-upgrade steps is to purge all personalizations anyway as they often get corrupted. Old habit I guess from when there was no Kinetic UI. We’re 100% classic still planning on migration this fall.

We’re having browser cache/ session issues again. A blank error screen is thrown when calling “Ice.Lib.SessionModSvc/GetCurrentValuesFromServer” – the only fix we have identified is to clear the web browser cache and re-log in. Not fun when you have hundreds of tablets active at a time.

Our EKW devices are also throwing HTTP 401 errors left and right when transacting.
