We have changed sites and have a bunch of parts we need to change to manufacture at site 2 instead of site 1. Site 2 also has different resources set up. Is there a way to DMT the new manufacturing site onto all the parts as well as the resources? Or do we have to do into each part individually?
Yes, this can all be done with DMT.
There are LOTS of decisions to make before embarking on this journey. Do all finished goods AND material parts already “exist” in the new site? If not, do at least some of the materials need to exist in BOTH Site 1 and Site 2? How will you move materials between them? Does your Site Configuration reflect how those materials move?
Once that decision is made and the appropriate Site records exist on all parts, you can either create new revisions on the finished good parts (if you want to keep the history), OR you can change the Site at the Revision level and then modify the MOM to reflect the new Resource Group configuration.
In either case, it can be done via DMT. This will be a time-consuming project.

Yes - All the parts exist in both sites. They will no longer need to exist in site 1.
Sounds like this is DMT-able.
