If this was PCs and not TS I would say it is a case of the PC crashing while a person is "logged in" and the Vantage ghost session still tying up the record. If TS workstations can crash and leave a dangling session this might still be the case. I don't know enough about TS. But one cause for it on PCs here was shop employees who make a lot of small transactions leaving themselves logged in so they can change activity faster. This leave them vulnerable to any connection disruption. We now mandate that emplyees get in and get out FAST! If I see a DC screen with a silohette (we don't use pictures yet) I log it out and chew out the employee because celaning these up wastaking too much of my time.

Subject: [Vantage] Data Collection Terminals - LaborHed in use by error
Hi All,
We have an ongoing issue at our data collection terminals.
The follow message occurs almost everyday for different employee's at
different plants.
The pop-up is titled "Database Status" and contains the following message:
"LaborHed in use by, 167 on gfx014. Wait or choose cancel to stop. (2624)"
(note: gfx014 is our terminal server)
I use Promon to kill the session to allow the employee to log onto a job.
Any ideas?
