Todd,
I'm sure you checked to see it there was a session from that user hung out
there?
I know in the past when I had this happen, sometimes clearing a hung session
will release the record.

They sure do. I called support about this a couple of weeks ago and was told
there was no such program for 6.1. Stop and start the database was the
solution. Now I called and there is a version for 6.1. Go figure.
Thanks
Todd

There is a new endact.r specific to 6.1. Get it from support. -Todd C.

Subject: [Vantage] Data Collection User
We are on version 6.1. I have a data collection user who, when trying to
clock out gets an error stating that the record is in use. This user only
uses Vantage from his desktop and I have verified that he has not used any
other workstation and perhaps left himself selected there. In previous
versions there was a "endact.r" program that could be run from the Vantage
command window to force end this lock. Anyone know how to fix this in 6.1?
