How to clear WIP report?

You say you ran the Capture Cos and Wip but did you post it?

Are there good reasons why these jobs are still open from 2007? If
there are no good reasons, why not close them? Once a job is closed it
is off the WIP report also.

But you need to investigate why these jobs are open to begin with, and
make sure your accounting people are ok with it as well.

And a few words of advice, don't depend heavily on the help....not
always accurate, but I will say it is much better in versions 8 and
beyond than earlier versions.

Also, what version are you on? Version 8.03 I think has a way of
automatically closing jobs depending on criteria you create.

Any older version you have to close each one manually....

Our company's Work in Process Report is over 2,000 pages. It includes
jobs that we created in 2007. The Help menu states that only jobs that
have their WIP-Cleared checkboxes clear will appear on this report.

But how do you select the WIP-Cleared check box so that they don't
appear any more? We have closed most of the jobs and have run the
Capture COS and WIP Activity program. However, we still have 23,000+
jobs listed on the report.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
