So sometimes when we right click this job number and open with “Job Entry” it opens Job Tracker instead? Any reason for this? We can’t figure it out.
We have also noticed this happening on quote entry when we hit the Engineering button on the line… it usually opens Quote Engineering Entry but sometimes it will open Quote Engineering Tracker.
Does the people who are opening this app have access to Job Entry? I know that happens on Order Entry/Tracker if they don’t have access to Order Entry. Otherwise I am not sure.
I have a very similar issue from Order Job Wizard and Epicor Support just responded with:
I found a Problem Case the Application Support Team submitted to Development for review.
The Development Problem Case number is PRB0310573, and has the following Description: Tracker opening instead of entry form when a custom menu is defined
Unfortunately that PRB number doesn’t seem to exist, at least for me.
It also only seems to be OJW for me, though I will now go check Job Manager.

I just tried my Job Manager and it does not have the problem there for me at least.
Yes they have access to Job Entry and Quote Engineering Entry and it does open correctly most of the time… but maybe 15% of the time it will randomly open the tracker instead.
