We have. It started the morning I installed the 9.1C23 ad 5.10.128 patches
two weeks ago. Ours was much more of a problem. Data collection users
could not clock into a job. We eventually had to reinstall Progress on both
our database server and the terminal server. We haven't had the problem
since.

Subject: [Vantage] OCX errors running Vantage on Terminal Server
We have been running Vantage clients using a Windows 2000 terminal server
for several months now however recently we are startting to expeirience OCX
errors such as: "Specified ActiveX control is not registered, or the .OCX
file was moved from where it was registered. Error occurred in procedure:
control_load vntgmenu.w (6087)". We have seen similar OCX errors referencing
other procedures, for example this morning part tracker is unavailable due
to this problem.
We are running Vantage 5.10.128 on Progress 9.1C23, the terminal server is
running Windows 2000 server SP3 and has Progress installed locally as
recommended by Epicor.
The error messages seem to resolve themselves eventually without the need to
log everyone off and restart the terminal server however they do cause
disruption when they occur.
Has anyone else run into this sort of problem with terminal server
implementations?
