We have parts that are purchased and often reference the Specification on the PO, as well as Preferred Brand of Part.
I am importing Specifications from old system to Kinetic and wonder where best to put it and what affect these fields have in Part Attributes.
“Specification Box” is it best to put it here? What is this linked to, or used for.
“Brand Box” what is this linked to or used for.
Checkboxes for “Restricted”, “Safety Item”, “Compliant” and “Gift Card” Really? lol
What are these checkboxes for and do they trigger anything? Or just for searchability and reporting use.
I searched and found back in 2009 a similar question on Specifications, where they created a PN for them, however, I just need a reference when they are Purchasing the part so I can pull that onto PO etc. They had added the Specification PN to a BOM, but not needed for us and I wonder if Kinetic has any improved way to handle and record the Specification or is the Attribute the way. (Mandalorian ref, lol)
