Anyone know how to resolve this error? We do not use any inspection processing in E10 yet, however many jobs are coming up with this error when we try to close out.
You may not be intentionally using it, but it sounds like there are items in there.
You will have to disposition them to be able to close the job.
I am not sure if this is your issue or if you know this already. When a part is rejected in Vantage or E10 an NCR is issued in the system. All NCR’s are in “Inspection Processing”. The jobs will not close until the NCR is dispositioned. I hope this is helpful.
Thank you - I found it was an error certain operators were making in the data collection - They were sometimes entering the scrap quantity as non-conformance qty. I had to retrieve the labor records, correct them, and resubmit.

If you don’t want them doing that, within their Shop Employee record, on the Production Info tab, you can uncheck the “Report Non-Conf Quantity” box.
That will gray out the field in MES for them.
