Perspectives this year

Personally, reading cheapovegas.com is far more interesting than actually going to Vegas. :-)

I had signed up so early the signup for labs had not been available. It is now (as of a couple weeks ago).

Standard rooms depend a LOT on which "tower" you are in. The Forum Tower is the better of the three older towers with standard rooms that have recently been updated. But most of those have shower only it that matters. The Roman and Centurion towers are getting pretty long in the tooth so I have heard anyway on various Las Vegas message boards. A free one is www.TripAdvisor. com<http://www.TripAdvi sor.com> and they have a forum for Nevada that is pretty much focused on Las Vegas questions. They also have some of the best hotel reviews anywhere and vet the contributions ruthlessly to weed out "stuffing" and "slamming".

Another very valuable site...especially for Las Vegas 1st timers is www.lasvegasadvisor .com<blocked: :http://www.lasvegas advisor.com/> . To access the message forums requires a membership ($37 for online version) but for this you get a coupon book that far more than pays for the membership. One coupon for the Palms hotel (relatively near Caesars) is for 50% off a lot of things (spa, restaurants, bars, etc....) up to a maximum saving of $50. We always plan a dinner a Gardunos or Blue Agave restaurants there and easily have a $100 tab cut in half. Many other 2-for-1 show coupons and drink specials, etc... plus some "match play" coupons (bet $10 on even money bet and if you win they pay you $20).

If you're going and have not booked a room yet it would be a good idea to get it done so you can still get in to Caesars. The past several times at LV they have run out and people have ended up at other Harrahs properties (Harrahs, Flamingo, Ballys, Paris LV, Rio, etc...). Some really inconvenient or at the least a long walk. The Palace Tower is by far the most concenient to the conference.. .basically an elevator ride away. Augustus Tower is newer (and pricier) but also has some nicer features although the room in the Palace Tower are decorated the same. Then again Palace Tower has some rooms with his & her bathrooms connected by a walk through shower - sort of interesting.

If cheap is more important than convenient.. .as in the difference between attending or not...check out www.cheapovegas. com<http://www.cheapove gas.com> for some funny but pretty dead on target reviews of hotels and typical prices.

Go to the Agenda builder portion of the website and sign up there.

The Sunday classes are signed up for when you register.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

I went last year as my first year and am going this year.

How are the standard rooms compared to the rooms in the Palace and
Augustus towers as far as features?

So this is the first year I finally get to go to this thing after using
this product for over 8 years and am a little lost.

We signed up early, but never got anything about signing up for the
labs/classes or anything like that. Does this happen later or is there a
place to actually do this and I am just not looking in the right place?

TIA!
