Printing labels from part master

Thanks Vic,

The reason I want to print text is that for printing a big # of the same label its much faster to print via text because it sends the label once with instructions to the printer how many to print so it uses the full speed of the printer vs. the qty on the driver causes the label to be resent x number of times.

Consider writing a BAQ query to query your Part table with the
applicable fields. Use Crystal Reports and the barcode font to design
and print your labels. For Qty you can use the Windows UI to say how
many copies to print.

This isn't the "only way", per se, but other methods would be very time
consuming.

Then put a button on your Part Entry/Tracker screen to invoke the BAQ
Report.

Hi all

I want to print labels with the part # and description and a barcode
from the part screen.
The ideal thing would be to have a button that opens a screen to ask qty
of labels and then print it.
Can anyone guide me through this? And is the only way to print via
crystal or can I print a to txt since I have a paxar printer that I can
send text with their coding language.

Thanks for any help.
