Todd, Chris,
I just tested mine. Ended my live Vantage session on the first try.
Not sure what the reason is that yours does not work.
Strange part is this...
The shortcut I have points to ...
V:\prgs91d\bin\_mprshut.exe V:\EPICOR\mfgsys61\Db\mfgsys -N TCP -H
(servername) -S 6100
I don't know what the V:\EPICOR\ part is doing, because that is not a valid
directory on my system, but it works.
I tried changing it to...
V:\prgs91d\bin\_mprshut.exe V:\mfgsys61\Db\mfgsys -N TCP -H (servername) -S
6100
and
V:\prgs91d\bin\_mprshut.exe mfgsys -N TCP -H (servername) -S 6100
both seem to work just fine.
I am logged in as a Domain Admin. I have specifically called out Domain
Admins in the Local Administrator group on the Vantage Server.
Don't know why it works, but it is working for me.

Same thing here. Despite reports that it can be done I've never gotten it
to work. Looks like it works but the session never goes away. Two past
suggestions:
1. Try repeatedly...sometimes it takes several attempts
2. Do from a user logged on to network who has Domain Admin rights as well
as Admin on the Vantage server
Others have suggested remote access to the server itself but all this saves
is physically going to the server and does not help to allow other employees
to terminate a session if you don't also want to allow them on the server.
Someday when I have an abundance of extra time I will play with this more
but unless the aggravation of killing ghost sessions rises higher it may be
a long time.

I know this has been covered before but I can't seem to get this to work
remotely. Below is the shortcut I have.
Target
V:\prgs91d\bin\_mprshut.exe V:\mfgsys61\db\mfgsys -N TCP -H (ServerName)
-S 6100
Start in
V:\prgs91d\bin
Promon will open and appears to run but I am unable to clear any
sessions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris
