Blake,
You would have to write your own webservice wrapper that does the work
and call it from
SC or, create a BPM that submits the task to the task agent on data
within one of your other calls.
Note if you are using the standard subsystem for printing, you would
also need to ensure the
System monitor was running on the machine you designate for the tasks.
There are alternatives, like having a custom webservice that generates
the XML via the BO but then
Feeds it to a crystal report object and submits it to the printer
removing the reliance on the report monitor.

Stephen

Subject: [Vantage] Service Connect - Print at the end of a workflow
All,
Here's a tricky one. I have created a workflow that gets fed order
numbers and uses them to create the related Pack Slips. I would like to
also print each newly created Pack Slip after its created but I want
Service Connect to handle this. I've traced the process and it seems
fairly straight forward but here's where it gets tricky... The first two
steps in the trace call for normal Web Services (ex:
Epicor.Mfg.BO.ProcessSet) but the last three steps in the trace call for
an Rpt Web Service (ex: Epicor.Mfg.Rpt.PackingSlipPrint). I am not able
to install the PackingSlipPrint web service. Does anyone know why this
is not an available web service. Do you know where I can possibly get
this web service? Maybe I am trying to set this workflow up wrong... is
there a better/cleaner/easier way? Any insight on this topic would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
