SQL 2012 to 2019

A few months back I moved our E10 server to a VM and upgraded it to Windows 2019 and SQL 2019. While looking through the SQL, I noticed the data is running in compatibility mode for 2012. A few questions:

  1. What is the bet policy for upgrading this from compatibility mode of 2012 to the full 2019?
  2. What do I need to watch out for, any known issues, etc with doing this?

While I can’t speak to the full question, if you are running in compatibility mode, then it is like you are only using that version. The latest version of Epicor needs a newer version of SQL.
