Okay, here is a WTH/F is happening here moment… Upgraded to Pilot (On Prem) and there are some major dataview things happening… I have currently documented this with Epicor, but we are seeing a similar (read related) in our custom layers and even in Order Entry.

That is a internal update, but I can see the problem in my DB, and I’m documenting the steps for Development to duplicate the issue so they can start working on have it fixed, I can see the problem in both, the Client and the Web Browser
I will give you the PRB number in a few more minutes, but it is a bug and Development must find the problem in the code to know what it’s needed to have corrected
As soon as I have the PRB I will let you know. Let me know if you have more questions"
Great job documenting it. That’s a textbook example on how to show something to Epicor and get them to fix it!
All these Kinetic bugs have me concerned about upgrading to 2024.2. We upgrade annually in February after a ton of testing, and typically stay on that release until next year.
Honestly, this 2024.2.5 update fixed some other things that we’ve been waiting for… once they fix this and roll out a .6 or .7 - I wouldn’t hesitate. Every build is getting less buggy and more stable, for sure. This particular problem was a big miss, but we were pretty happy with the other fixes - especially the attachment fixes and the cache issues with regard to changing pages…
There is another problem I got told about with the new upgrade that my Sales team is very unhappy about, PRB0290733.
If you are in the Order module then click the explorer tab try to click on Shipments it gives an error and won’t let you
